Clean lines, thoughtful materials, and understated details define this modern outdoor living space. Every element was selected to complement the home’s contemporary architecture, creating a backyard that feels refined, functional, and effortlessly connected to the surrounding living spaces.
A custom 6-inch glass porcelain tile frames the pool, introducing texture and vibrant color that changes with the light throughout the day. The same material carries into the raised spa through a matching 1″ × 2″ glass spillway tile, while oversized glass tile accents wrap the submerged bar stools, creating a cohesive design detail that immediately draws the eye.

Positioned to capture western sunset views, the sunshelf and elevated spa become natural gathering spaces for relaxing or entertaining. The submerged bar stools offer a unique place to socialize in the water, adding functionality without disrupting the clean geometry of the pool.
A modern concrete deck surrounds the pool, emphasizing the home’s minimalist aesthetic. Rather than using traditional plastic deck drains, brown pebble drainage channels were incorporated into the design, creating a cleaner finish that blends seamlessly into the surrounding hardscape.
As evening approaches, integrated lighting transforms the space, highlighting the rich blue glass tile and reflecting across the water’s surface.
The result is a backyard where contemporary architecture, premium finishes, and thoughtful craftsmanship come together to create a space that feels simple, sophisticated, and designed to be enjoyed every day.
